For medium-sized machine tools with high department rigidity, the machine tools with low impact resistance and light vibration during operation, such as small lathes, milling machines, etc., can be installed directly on the floor of the workshop. This kind of advantage can make the whole process layout more flexible and more convenient to adjust. The thickness of the cast iron platform is generally between 150 and 200. This thickness can support small and medium machine tools. When it is necessary to set up the foundation separately, it is often aimed at some heavier, larger, more sophisticated, and more impactful. It requires a certain degree of stability in the processing of such equipment. When such equipment is implemented, It is necessary to consider the basic dimensions, the number of basic steel bars, and the construction skills. The focus of this paper is mainly on the analysis of equipment with separate foundations.

In the judgment of the equipment, for various large-scale, heavy-duty machine tools, various precision, high-precision lathes and low-rigidity lathes or the ratio between the entire length of the base and the height of the section is greater than that of the eight pairs of machine tools, which is very large. The impact load or vibration coefficient of the machine must be installed on a separate foundation. A machine with a high stiffness, that is, a machine with a ratio of the entire length of the base to the height of the section of less than five, can be considered to be mounted on the cast iron plate in the workshop. In addition, for a medium-sized machine tool with a ratio of the entire length of the base to the height of the section greater than five and less than eight, it may be determined by the circumstances that, depending on the actual situation at the site, whether it is installed separately or on a thickened floor.

(1) Basic size and structure.

In order to make the machine tool work normally, it is necessary to have a certain strength of the machine tool to prevent vibration. The basic plane size is generally about one hundred to seven hundred millimeters larger than the equipment, and the corresponding adjustment is made according to the actual situation.

(2) Basic reinforcement.

For foundations not exceeding six meters, basic reinforcement is not required, but if the foundation needs to be built on weak or uneven geology, or if the foundation needs to withstand large local impact and the ground support points are small Reinforcing bars are required, and the spacing of the reinforcing bars is generally maintained between 150 and 250 mm.

(3) Pre-pressure test of foundation.

For machine tools with high precision requirements or gravity of more than 500 kN, the foundation needs to be reinforced when the foundation is built on a weak foundation. The weight of the preload can be selected to the maximum weight of the machine. The weight is predicted between 1.4 and 2.0 times, and the test is carried out in stages according to the actual load conditions. The preloading time can be determined according to the actual situation.
